How old do I have to be? Dancers on our teams range from ages 4-18
What classes do I have to take to be on the team? All dancers on our competitive team ages 7+ MUST take Ballet, Jazz and Lyrical as their core classes throughout the season plus 1 team class. Dancers ages 4 -6 Must take 1 style in addition to the starette class
How many competitions do you attend? We attend 4 regionals each season and 1 Nationals
Do you travel? Our regionals are all within driving distance as well as Nationals within the tri-state area
Do you attend any additional events? All members of our competitive team also attend 1 convention in the fall
How do I get on the team? Dancers ages 7+ are required to attend our August one day intensive at the studio. Dancers ages 4-6 should contact the studio for more information
Are private auditions available? Yes, private auditions are available. Please contact risingstarsdancenj@gmail.com to schedule

The STARS team was invited to attend the World Class Talent competition and compete against Abby Lee Miller and her ALDC team. This competition was also a tapping for the Lifetime tv show DANCE MOMS.

Our girls had a wonderful time meeting Abby and her girls, seeing how the show is taped and sharing the stage with the ALDC. Our girls shined with their 10 routines that they learned in 3 weeks or less
